The incomparable Ernest Tubb ("E.T." to every part of who knew him) became a motto as much for what he was personally viewed like for the half-century career that stretched from his chief radio date in 1932 to his demise in 1984. Though other singers through better voices and more raw melodious talent have come and gone, not the least portion has inspired greater love from fans across six decades. Along with such performers of the same kind with Jimmie Rodgers, Roy Acuff, Bill Monroe, Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell, and George Jones, Tubb is political division music personified....
